Sacraments

Baptism

Baptism Preparations sessions are offered once a month to prepare parents for the Sacrament of Baptism.  Completion of this session is required before the Baptism is scheduled, even if this is not your first child. First-time parents are encouraged to attend Baptism Prep before your child’s arrival; your example of faith begins the moment the child is born. Please email Cheryl Powell or call the Parish Office at 270-683-6525 to make a reservation.

Marriage

Couples wishing to share their lives with one another in Christian marriage are asked to contact the Parish Office at 270-683-6525 for an appointment. We suggest that the first appointment be scheduled nine (9) months before the proposed date of marriage. We invite you to view our Wedding Guidelines.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated communally two times a year, during Advent and Lent. Other opportunities for Reconciliation are Saturdays from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, or by appointment (call the Parish Office at 270-683-6525).

Anointing of the Sick

Parishioners may request Anointing of the Sick by calling the Parish Office at 270-683-6525. The sacrament is celebrated several times during the year. Please call the Parish Office if a member of your family is admitted to a hospital or nursing home.

Communion to the Homebound

Requests for Communion visits to homebound parishioners may be requested by calling the Parish Office at 270-683-6525 or by sending an email to Fr. Shibu.
