A parish-wide survey was conducted in 2019 to examine the present and future needs of our parish. At that time, a group of parishioners gathered with a representative from LPi, our bulletin publisher and a company dedicated to equipping the Church to be more intentional disciples who live a life of stewardship. We began the process on constructing a 3-year strategic plan for our parish looking at our community’s strengths and concerns and areas of ministry we desired to see grow, based on the survey results.
From that humble yet energized beginning, 8 Teams emerged to establish concrete goals to realize our vision of growth over the next 3 years. No single plan is perfect or addresses every aspect of parish life. However, we have attempted a start, and one primary goal is not allowing this document to gather dust on a shelf or be forgotten. It is intended to be a living, evolving tool for growth.
We are grateful for the many people who have worked these past months to bring this Long Range Plan together, and who continue to serve on the Teams. If you are asked to serve on a team in the coming months and years, we hope you will prayerfully consider lending your time and talents!
Limited copies available of the document are available at the doors of the church, or you may view a copy here.
We hope you will the plan to be visionary and pertinent to the issues you expressed in the survey. But we also hope you will find it expresses what we hope our Cathedral is known for–our faith in Jesus Christ.
