Published on July 31st, 2017

There are still a few spaces left for this great program! If you are 50+ years of age, join us this fall for a journey to a happier, healthier, productive long life. St. Stephen Cathedral will be offering a program aimed specifically at assisting you live life to the fullest.

The Aging Mastery Program was developed by the Nation Council on Aging as a fun approach to living and enjoying our extra years. The program consists of ten weekly sessions that lead to improved health, stronger financial security, enhanced well-being, and an increased connection to our communities. Over 6,000 older Americans have completed the Aging Mastery Program to date. They report significant improvements in social involvement, use of advanced planning, and adoption of several healthy behaviors. The core program topics include Exercise and You, Financial Fitness, Sleep, Healthy Eating and Hydration, Medication Management, Advanced Planning, Healthy Relationships, Community Engagement, and Falls Prevention. Speakers with expertise in the ten topics will be our speakers.  Participants establish personal goals and through peer support and simple rewards, and develop sustainable behavior for aging well.

This is the first time the program will be offered in the Commonwealth of Kentucky!
